A Ferrari has crashed into a power pole on a major Sydney highway, trapping the driver and causing delays.

The red sportscar hit the pole on the Princes Highway near Sydneyham train station just after 11am.

“Anytime we respond to an incident with patients trapped inside a motor vehicle, it’s challenging,” Inspector Kay Armstrong from NSW Ambulance said.

“High-powered vehicles can so easily get out of control.

“I’d ask everyone on the road to please take care.”
