Dinithi Ratnayake has been appointed because the Chairperson of the SDB financial institution with impact from 29 April.
At current, she is a Non-Govt Unbiased Director on the SDB financial institution Board since April 2020.
She replaces Lakshman Abeysekara who retires on Friday following the completion of 9 years on the Board.

Ratnayake holds a BSc Diploma in Pc Science from the College of Houston, Clear Lake
and a Grasp of Arts Diploma in Economics from the College of Colombo.
Main shareholders of SDB financial institution are Iconic Property Twnety Three Ltd., (15%), Nederlandse Financierings Maatschappij Voor Ontwikkerlingslanden NV (11%), Ayenka Holdings Ltd., (10.9%), Belgian Funding Firm for Creating International locations SA/NV (10%), Senthilverl Holdings Ltd., (9%).
